We are often asked where we will go next. This page is a listing of our plans, so far as we now know. We generally try to plan about six months ahead, with some latitude for last minute changes. As "professional" volunteers, we make all efforts to keep each commitment that we make so it is a very rare thing that we make any major changes, but the "On the Road" periods are usually very un-planned, except the start and end points. If you should discover that we will spending some time in your area, or if we seem to be passing your way, just let us know and we will try and meet you. January, 2010The plan is to do some travel during the month, visiting Rainbow's End at Livingston and perhaps make a trip of a week or so to Rockport to visit some friends there as well. February 1, through April 30, 2010We will be at Government Canyon State Natural Area. We will be working as interpretive staff and living in the park. May, 2010We will return to Lavon Lake, near Wylie, TX for a short visit and to do the annual physicals and dental care. We expect to be in the area for two or three weeks. We plan to spend Memorial weekend in Kansas to attend Kirk's high school class fiftieth anniversary. June & July, 2010We will be volunteering for the Corps of Engineers at Council Grove Lake, in east-central Kansas. August 2010We will be doing some travel and also plan to spend some time at Camp Carlson, Ft. Knox, KY. September through November, 2010We plan to spend three months at Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery, working with the USFWS. This will be our first fish hatchery experience.
